Equipment for clinics and longevity practices
Turn your clinical team’s requirements into a clear procurement brief. Separate assessment, patient comfort and specialist devices, then review the intended use and documentation of each selected model before deciding to buy.
Separate three equipment decisions
Assessment and follow-up
Compare measurement devices by the parameters actually supported, repeatability information and how results can be recorded. A body-composition estimate is not a diagnosis by itself.
Compare optionsPatient seating and room setup
Compare chairs and room furniture for positioning, cleanability, access and the procedures your team intends to provide. A chair does not define or authorise the procedure.
Compare optionsSpecialist devices
Start with a documented clinical need. Review the exact device, intended use, evidence, operator requirements and local regulatory status with the responsible clinical team.

Identity and intended use
Request the exact manufacturer, model, instructions and intended use. Match the supplied device to the documents; similar product names are not proof that the same evidence or approval applies.
Regulatory and supplier checks
Ask for the applicable Indonesian registration and distribution documentation. Use the official Kemenkes register to check the supplied product details and status; a catalogue listing is not evidence of authorisation.
Room and operator requirements
Define utilities, ventilation, access, cleaning, operator training and monitoring needs from the chosen model’s documentation and your clinical workflow.
Acceptance and ongoing records
Agree inspection on receipt, functional checks, training records, maintenance responsibilities and service terms. Decide how measurements and patient data will be recorded and accessed before launch.
Compare procurement scope, not only the device price
Request separate equipment, accessories, delivery, installation, acceptance, operator training and after-sales terms. Confirm which documentation will be supplied before payment. Any professional training, consumables or site changes needed should be visible in the budget.

Define the clinical requirement
Your responsible team specifies intended use, patient group, evidence requirements and essential measurements or functions.
Review the exact configuration
Compare model documents and the complete supply scope. Resolve missing or mismatched information before order.
Accept and document the handover
Check the delivered model and accessories against the contract and complete the agreed functional and training checks before use.
Questions before you order
Does inclusion in the catalogue mean a device is approved for clinical use?
No. The exact model, intended use and applicable Indonesian requirements must be checked. Ask for supporting documents and have the responsible clinical team review them before procurement.
Can you provide treatment protocols or guarantee patient outcomes?
Equipment selection does not establish a treatment protocol or a patient outcome. Those decisions belong to the responsible qualified team using the device instructions and appropriate evidence.
How should we compare body-composition devices?
Check which outputs the model supports, its measurement method, repeatability information, user requirements and reporting options. Plan consistent measurement conditions; more displayed numbers do not automatically mean better clinical value.
What if the model documentation is incomplete?
Keep that item pending. Ask for the missing instructions, identity, regulatory or performance documents and record who will review them. Do not substitute a brochure or documents for a similar-looking device.
