How it works

A portable steam tent uses an external generator to supply steam into an enclosure. An infrared tent or blanket uses electrical emitters instead. The operating temperature, placement and drying instructions depend on the selected model.

A portable format has its own requirements

Check unfolded and stored dimensions, the generator or emitter specification, electrical requirements and instructions for drying. Place the unit only where the model manual permits; protect the surrounding room from moisture and keep the exit accessible. Our metal-frame custom build specification does not apply to fabric tents.

What should be compared before buying a portable sauna?

Check the heating method, usable seated space, entry opening and both assembled and storage dimensions. For a steam tent, review the generator, hose routing and cleaning instructions for that exact model. Do not treat a photograph of a tent as confirmation of temperature, power, plug compatibility or accessories included.

How to compare the running cost

Read the rated input power and expected operating cycle for the actual model. Electricity cost depends on runtime and your tariff; a portable label does not prove lower consumption.

Is a portable steam tent the same as an infrared sauna?

No. A steam tent uses a steam generator; an infrared model uses emitters. Compare the actual heating system and manual before choosing.

Does the two-month custom build time apply?

No. Portable model availability and supply time are confirmed separately.
