Wavelengths: Red and/or near-infrared, in nm; confirm each wavelength for the chosen model.
Light output: Irradiance in mW/cm² with stated distance and test conditions; LED count is a separate measure.
Control and power: Timer, supported modes, electrical input and compatible power adapter.
Fit and dimensions: Check minimum bending or rolling limits, controller connection and cleaning instructions. Verify that the manufacturer permits the intended lying, seated or over-body position; not every mat is designed to support body weight.

Active area and power

Separate total mat dimensions from the LED-covered area. Compare wavelength, irradiance at a stated measurement condition, electrical input and permitted placement. A higher advertised LED wattage alone does not establish the delivered light dose.
