1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

This website has no registration, no user accounts and no contact forms. It does not store your personal data on its own servers.

• WhatsApp enquiries: when you tap a WhatsApp button, your chosen messenger opens with a pre-filled message. If you send it, we receive your WhatsApp name, phone number and message content.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider (Netlify) processes IP addresses and request data in short-lived server logs needed to deliver the site securely.
• Cookies and analytics: only after your explicit consent — see section 3.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

On your first visit we show a consent banner. Until you press “Accept”, no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded and no marketing cookies are set — nothing is shared with Google or Meta.

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are not currently enabled. Your consent choice and enquiry cart are stored locally in your browser.

4. Changing or withdrawing consent

You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Reopening these settings pauses Analytics until you accept again. Withdrawal disables future Analytics collection and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already sent to Google.

5. Why we use data and on what legal basis

• Responding to your WhatsApp enquiry and preparing quotations — performance of pre-contractual steps at your request.
• Coordinating equipment delivery, installation and warranty — performance of a contract.
• Analytics and advertising measurement — only with your consent.
• Security of the website and hosting logs — our legitimate interest in operating the site safely.

6. Who else processes data

• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — carries your messages to us under its own privacy terms.
• Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and server logs.
• Google Analytics and Meta Pixel do not currently receive visit data from this website.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone beyond what is needed to answer your enquiry and fulfil an order.

7. International transfers, storage and retention

WhatsApp, Netlify, Google and Meta may process data on servers outside Indonesia, including the United States, under their respective safeguards.

WhatsApp correspondence is kept for as long as needed to serve your enquiry and any resulting order, and then for up to 5 years for warranty and accounting purposes. Hosting logs are retained by Netlify for a short technical period. Where enabled with your consent, Analytics data follows the retention setting of our Google Analytics property.

8. Your rights

Under Indonesian Law No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection (and, for EU visitors, the GDPR) you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time.

Send any request to info@arcticbb.co.id — we respond within 30 days. EU residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. WhatsApp messages are protected by end-to-end encryption in transit. Access to correspondence is limited to the team members who handle your enquiry.

10. Children

This equipment catalog serves adult private and business customers and is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The current version with its date is always available on this page; significant changes will be highlighted here.

12. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including Law No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection. For visitors from the European Union, GDPR rights apply as described above.
