Does the thermoelectric module eliminate the need for ice?
No. This configuration lists ice, water and a semiconductor module together. Plan ice preparation and access to the reservoir. For a system specified to work without ice, compare the Five Elements Hot & Cold Thermoelectric or Compressor versions.
How does it differ from the 8 L circulation unit?
The reservoir is smaller and the unit includes compression with a listed 5–75 mmHg range. The empty main unit is also heavier, at approximately 3 kg. Reservoir volume and unit weight describe different things; neither tells you which wrap will fit.
Can it warm the wrap?
Heating is not specified for this version. If both cold and heat are required, choose a model with a documented heating range rather than assuming the temperature control covers both.
What do I need to confirm for the kit?

Is 75 mmHg the recommended setting?
