Theragun Prime or Pulse Motion: compare massage guns in Indonesia
October 5, 2026 · 4 min read

Catalogue image from the Pulse Motion range; this is not a Theragun product.
A useful massage-gun comparison starts with how you hold and position the device. More stroke or a heavier body is not automatically better. This guide compares published product information; we have not run a head-to-head test. Five Elements sells Pulse Motion models. Theragun is a Therabody product and is not offered in this catalogue; no Therabody affiliation is implied.

What is documented for Theragun Prime?
The Therabody US page checked on 5 October 2026 listed Prime 6th Gen at US$329.99, with five speeds, a 907 g body, two attachments and up to 120 minutes of battery life at the lowest speed. This is a US reference price, not an Indonesian delivered offer.
Use the exact generation when asking for a quotation. A Prime, Prime Plus or an earlier-generation device can have a different specification and package. Do not transfer features from a similarly named version.
How the Pulse Motion range differs
Our catalogue lists Pulse Motion at approximately 0.6 kg with an adjustable 6–12 mm stroke; Pulse Motion Plus at approximately 0.98 kg with 7–15 mm; and Pulse Motion Max at approximately 1.4 kg with 8–16 mm. Each lists six arm positions. Prices below are taken from the current product records.
The adjustment changes the mechanical travel of the attachment. It does not establish how deeply a particular person’s tissue is treated. Ask for a demonstration of the supplied version and instructions before deciding which range you need.
Weight, grip and access to the target area
A lighter device may be easier to hold for self-use or to carry between locations. A larger handle can offer another grip, but it also takes more storage space and may feel heavier at arm’s length. Check your wrist position and whether you can comfortably reach the intended muscle area without straining.
For a studio, consider repeated handling by staff, where attachments will be kept and how each contact surface is cleaned between users. A portable size does not by itself establish suitability for all-day commercial use.
Do not confuse speed, stroke and force
Speed counts repetitions; stroke describes travel. The force needed to stall a motor is a separate property. If the supplier has not provided comparable measurement conditions, avoid ranking two products by a single impressive number. More amplitude does not establish better results for every use.
Battery capacity in mAh also cannot be converted directly into working minutes without power demand and test conditions. We therefore do not calculate a runtime advantage for Pulse Motion from its battery specification or invent a missing Theragun stroke value.
Compare complete offers, then decide
Request the exact version, attachments, charging equipment, delivered price, warranty and spare-part route from each seller. The US reference and an Indonesian catalogue price can have different scope. Confirm taxes, delivery and local service before comparing totals.
Shortlist Theragun Prime if its documented format and support offer fit your needs. Shortlist a Pulse Motion model if its handling and adjustable stroke suit you. Send your city, home or studio use and preferred model for a quotation. Follow the selected manual; this buying guide is not a treatment protocol for an injury.

About this guide and its sources
Five Elements publishes these guides to help compare equipment and plan its use. Research findings apply to the devices, participants and conditions studied. Model specifications and operating instructions must be checked for the version offered. Any individual treatment decision belongs with an appropriately qualified professional.
Dates above identify publication and substantive updates. Linked sources let you inspect the evidence; catalogue cards show current equipment prices. To report an error or request a model document, contact Five Elements with the page address and equipment name.
Benefits, evidence and practical guides

Massage guns: compare adjustable amplitude, size and handling
Pulse Motion, Pulse Motion Plus and Pulse Motion Max let you change the mechanical stroke. Pulse Studio and Pulse Travel keep it fixed. That distinction, together with the weight and handle shape, is more useful than choosing by the model name alone.

Massage guns: realistic benefits, useful settings and limits
A massage gun may be useful for someone who enjoys a controllable self-massage routine. The important questions are what outcome you expect and whether you can use the device comfortably. A longer stroke, a higher speed or a professional-looking case does not by itself demonstrate better recovery. Compare the experience and evidence before comparing impressive numbers.
